Questions

What people ask before they have played. For how the systems work once you have, the guides go further.

What kind of game is this?

An idle MMO about cultivation: you gather Qi, break through from one realm into the next, and get stronger by orders of magnitude rather than by percentages. Fights are turn-based against packs of up to five. Around that sit five crafting professions, a player-run market, sects that go to war with one another, and a campaign that walks you through all of it in the order you can use it.

Do I have to keep it open?

No. Cultivation carries on while you are away, so the habit worth forming is setting your cultivator to something before you close the game. What you cannot do offline is the active part — fights, events, the tower — and that is where most of the interesting decisions are.

When does it launch?

6 November 2026 at 5:00 PM Eastern. The clock on the front page counts down to it, and a Play button appears there on its own when it opens. The quickest way to hear first is the Discord, or wishlisting on Steam.

Where can I play it?

In a browser at play.immortalzenith.com, on Steam for Windows and Linux (including Steam Deck), on Google Play for Android, and on the App Store for iPhone and iPad. Your cultivator lives on the server rather than on the device, so the same account picks up where it left off wherever you sign in.

Is it pay-to-win?

There is a shop, the Celestial Caravan, which sells consumables, bundles, cosmetics and design draws for Celestial Crystals, and there are optional supporter tiers. Those carry modest gameplay perks as well as cosmetics: faster cultivation at every tier, and a slightly higher daily pill limit at the higher ones. The whole game is playable without either. Some things cannot be bought at all: masterwork gear is kept off the market entirely, because it is proof somebody refined it.

If you want nothing bought anywhere near you, there are the Obscure Realms, the realms the Caravan does not travel to. It does not trade there and supporter perks do not apply there, so everybody in them is on the same footing; only things that are purely appearance follow you in. Getting in takes an Obscure Realm Pass, bought once.

What is a world-realm, and which should I pick?

Each world-realm is its own game: characters, sects, markets, rankings and world firsts in one are invisible from the others. One account can play in any of them, but a cultivator stays where it was made. If you are coming with friends, agree on one first. One of them is the Obscure Realm described above.

Server stats shows how full each world is and which world firsts are still unclaimed, and the sect directory shows who is already there.

Can my cultivator die?

Of old age, yes — every cultivator has a lifespan, and breakthroughs are how you buy more of it. You are warned well in advance, and the end is a day of dying rather than a sudden stop, long enough to do something about it. Nobody loses a character to a holiday: the clock only closes in on a cultivator whose owner has actually been playing. When a life does end, you reincarnate, and a strong enough soul carries something into the next one.

Which languages does it support?

English, Spanish, French, German, Italian and Korean — the interface and the game's content both.

Can I play with friends?

Yes, inside the same world-realm: friends, direct messages, chat, a shared sect with its own storage and crafting orders, and region events that a whole region clears together rather than one player at a time.

I found a bug. Where do I report it?

On Discord. What was fixed in each release is in the patch notes.
